Butterfly Worksheet - free printable

I'm working on a series of printables that are great for younger kids - ones that offer a variety of uses, or can be used multiple times in different ways.

For instance, this learning sheet can be used in these ways -

count the butterflies and practice writing the number of butterflies in the box below

draw the same number of butterflies in the box below

write the color of the butterflies in the box below

place a bean on each butterfly while you count them

find the box with one butterfly in it, put a bean in the box below, and so on with the different numbers

find the box with the yellow butterflies in it, put a bean in the box below, and so on with the other colors

It could even be used to explore symmetry or addition or subtraction!

It can be laminated for repeat uses, or just printed multiple times.  Also, there is a space at the top for practicing name writing, letters, or words.

I think it's pretty fun - it's the kind of sheet I like.  Lots of options, and easily adapted to your kids interest or stage.  I hope you (and your kids) enjoy!
